Quiet kids - By: M. E. Barker, 22 May 2009
Another one to keep the kids, boys & girls, quiet. The only thing is it gives them ideas they already haven't thoght of.
Money Grubbing Insult - By: Mr. B. P. Moran, 27 Nov 2008
This is the most depressing, poorly made, insulting film "comedy" ever made. Twentieth Century Fox shot thisin South Africa to save CASH & it's SO obvious. We are meant to think it's America still!! Home Alone was still a franchise they felt had a pulse & would bringin more cash from the deluded dozens who didn't ask for their money back (some of them posted favourable reviews here...either that or it's the production team trying to big this steaming pile up). This film kills the reputation of the first two which were actually rather good. Home Alone 3 is a disgrace, allin it obviously have a deep-seated contempt for the human race.
Why are a lot of people against this film? - By: kingboy, 11 Sep 2007
After I saw this film at the cinema, I actually enjoyed it. OK, it's not AS good as the first two, but at least it's still enjoyable. However, this is a million times better than the fourth, which I didn't enjoy very much.
Didn't laugh once - By: Mr. Ap Noakes, 31 Oct 2006
Why did John Hughes do it? He should have stopped at 2. How he ever thought a Home Alone film would work without Culkin, Pesci & Stern i don't know. It just wasn't funny & he wasn't REALLY Home Alone. The whole pointin the first two was he was completly alone & cut off from his family wheras here they were coming home each night. Only saw it once... never again i'm sticking to 1 & 2.
Original and Fun - By: Mr. Ross Maynard, 24 Sep 2006
The third outingin the Home Alone franchise offers a completely new family, new child ("Alex") & a new scenario. It is surprisingly enjoyable family viewing. Here young Alex finds a computer chip & soon a gang of international criminals is on his trail - or is he on their trail ?. It is well put together & fun. We giggled all the way through, & our daughter loved it. If you have young children they will enjoy this. Look out for a young Scarlett Johanssen as Alex's sister.
