Good fun and very clever - By: Xtal, 11 Jun 2010
This is of course a very well known musical. So much has been said about it already, so there is little I can add that's original. The cast were excellent & Elain Page superb. The songs were full of fun & cleverly written. This is one that will go on my 'watch again & again' pile.
cats the musical - By: Ms. R. Welch, 30 May 2010
amazing musical!! saw it live just before it came out on video/dvd, just as good.with gorgeous costumes, amazing songs its perfect for any age! Love it A+++++++
WOW!!! - By: Rachael Smith, 17 Apr 2010
I watched Cats for the first time when my mum bought the DVD, & I loved it! I'm only 14, & I haven't seen it on the stage, but I enjoyed watching every minute!
TS Eliot at his best - By: Scifi Fan, 16 Apr 2010
I grew up on Macavity & the like. My mother was always a cat person & thus the characters portrayed by Eliot are totally credible. The music of Andrew Lloyd Webber is unforgetable & all the best love songs are down full justice with Elaine Paige singing "Memories" & full cast of practical cats dancing around & across the stage. Songs like Bustopher Jones & Mr Mistoffelees rank among my favourite perfomances. If you expect a plot you'll be disppointed but the performances all link & display the many facets of feline personality & few observations about humans too. Immensely enjoyable.
Good - but no saucer of cream - By: Mr. Rc Beecroft, 24 Jan 2010
I've seen the live show several times. Whilst a good performancein it's own way, this wouldn't have made me want to see it once.

The atmosphere of the live show is missing; there's not even a hint of an audience.

Some of the camera work is just too "clever" for the good of the performance.
