Very French and REALLY hard work - By: Nik, 13 Sep 2007
No one should have to put this much effortin trying to get through a film - somehow the French are excellent at this kind of torture - don't waste your time, I couldn't find ANY redeeming featuresin it.
Not Even Worth One Star - By: Dawn, 21 Aug 2005
I can watch any film no matter how good or bad this is one of the very few films ever that i have had to turn off. Its lesbian content is a joke & even taking that away from the film it leaves it with urmmm NOTHING WORTH WATCHING !!!!!!
Thought-provoking and worth a look - By: Nothern Climes, 05 Aug 2005
I read the 2 posted reviews written previously, after I'd seen the film & I have to say, I disagree with them both; hence this review. Although hardly 'action-packed', the film may certainly be described as subtle & meandering but with a definite punchin its finale. I've very glad I persevered & saw itin its entirety.
The trials & petty tribulations of growing upin a seaside town alongside one's parents & petty-minded adults is well presented here. An example of things that are actually no big dealin hindsight, are tremendously important & potentially devastating during one's teens; this is well-portrayed & I felt the frustration & anger, especially of the female lead.
I wouldn't say this is one to watch again & again, but I'm glad I've seen it & it's left me with distinct memories & thoughts; deservedly so from this low-budget production.
And for those folk that are expecting lesbianism - this is not what this film is about. Sure, there's some tame nudity but it's allin context. It's more about family life & growing pains. Hope this helps.

Dont hire this!!! - By: , 20 Jun 2005
This has got to be the most mindnumbing film i've ever seen, you keep watching it as you are expecting something exciting to happen any minute but it just doesn't. As for it being billed as a lesbian interest film, ha, what a laugh. Truly awlful
