The dvd boxset is great & for the price is worth it! The first film is excellent & is played out well by the actors & actresses! It is a fun film with the Classic best british car to date, the Mini! Shame that the sequal to it was never produced, but the re make of the film I thought was just average & the story line could've been made better. I thought the car scenes could've been longer & the ending a little better, but still, it was decent enough to watch!

The original Italian Job is without doubt a classic piece of British acting, worthy of enternal praise. The remake isn't! However, no remake of a classic is going to live up to the original (although Oceans 11 is close), & this new film is still entertaining & does a reasonable job at keeping true to the original intent & story line. Ok, so Hollywood has gotten involved & made this a big picture production, but the limited cast & action sequences are still good & mostly believable (although the helicopter chase scene does go ott).
I liked it, & the box set offers you the chance to see both filmsin one evening. Not bad & worth a look
