Great fil esp for those people who were never quite the popular guy or girl , cheesyin places but greatin others , slightly off topic but i searched google about the lead actress & apparently she got arrested for doing drugs & her kid got taking away is is true , who knows ! ,
Can't buy me love - By: , 28 Aug 2005 Takes me back to my time at High schoolin the US. Unfortunatley I was one of the bad Guys. A great soundtrack & lovin' those eighties clothes. A must for lovers of eighties films.

Superb - By: , 21 Nov 2004 I have seen this film a few times on TV. It is a classic 80's feel good teen movie. Amanda Peterson & Patrick Demspey are superbin it. Well worth owning a copy & at this price, its a bargain.
Can't Buy Me Love - By: Sonja Jones, 28 Apr 2004 I must have searched for this title to buy online over a hundred times inthe vain hope that it would finally arrive on DVD... Hurrah!!! Mypersistence has paid off with the arrival of what is a pure chick flick80's masterpiece (well, at the very least a feel good, light entertainmentmovie) which is well worth a watch. For me, it's an essential addition tomy collection.
Apart from the obvious Beatles theme tune, the movie provides asentimental trip back to every girl/boy's high school crush, & theultimate desire to be part of the coolest gangin school... or to at leastwatch them fall from grace.
Patrick Dempsey is brilliant as the charmingly nerdy Ronny, whilst AmandaPetersen plays 80's prom queen beautifully. I would highly recommend awatch on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
