Great. However I prefer Morse as Oxford has nicer buildings & Denton isn't even a real place, apparently. And Supt. Mullett actually has quite a normal haircut.
top draw detective series - By: Red Rose, 18 Jan 2008
David Jason has always been 'Del Boy' to me, so I missed the first two series because I didn't think I would be able to take this seriously. Hands up, I have never been more wrong. In fact, this is probably one of the two greatest TV Detective Series ever made (Morse is the other). Yes, it is that good.
Frost is a hard working, good, decent & honest policeman, who occasionally has small problems with rules & procedure. He is also very human & has the frailties that go with it. He lives & worksin the real world & Jo Average can easily identify with this. It is very difficult not to like Frost.
Although there are quite a few moments of humour, this is still very top quality drama, & very addictive. There are quite a few other regularsin the series. Bruce Alexander (his long suffering boss Supt Mullett), John Lyons (long time friend & colleague DS George Toolan) & Arthur White (police archivist Ernie Trigg)in particular.
Check out 'A TOUCH OF FROST: SERIES 6-12'.

If you're a Frost fan this is what you want. Quality is excellent, no more need be said.
