THE FUNNIEST SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - By: J. N. Maidment, 06 Oct 2007
This eries is by far the funniest. It is also emotional when Rachel falls for a hot new assisstant & Monica & Chandler tie the knott. THIS IS A MUST BUY FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY TO ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
still there for you... - By: Kerry C. O'hagan, 16 Feb 2006
It's like a security blanket: we are all forever safein the knowledge that Friends will be around til the day we die, despite it's final 10th season, it'll be re-run & watched over & over again, much like Cheers.
Season 7 is probably not the best series of the lot, but it is by no means disappointing, with the central storyline being the run-up to Chandler & Monica's wedding. There's crazy-Monica galore as she obssesses over every tiny detail & goes to extremes to get the wedding of her dreams (watch The One With The Cheap Wedding Dress, hilarious!), Chandler wrestles with his past & finally confronts it (Kathleen Turner is outstanding as "Mr" Bing) & the rest of the Friends pitchin anyway they can: Ross shows us his musical side - not with the keyboards, but with bagpipesin The One With Joey's New Brain - Joey becomes ordained as a minister, whilst Phoebe & Rachel fight for the position of Maid of Honour.
Aside from the wedding, guest star Eddie Cahill (from CSI) provides a new love interest for Rachel as her younger assistant, Tag. Denise Richards' charms allure the guys (and one girl!)in The One With Ross & Monica's Cousin & the Friends come to terms with the fact that 30-something is impending & wave goodbye to their 20s.
There are some episodes that have a distinct 'filler' feel to them, like The One With All the Cheesecakes, which is why I only awarded 4 stars as previous seasons have been outstanding with every episode delivering, but it's still pretty damn good & worth the purchase.
One of the best series - By: Al Kutch, 06 Jan 2006
I think that the later series start to pick upin terms of humour. By this stage one becomes familiar with the characters & therefore you get more than you expect. I truly believe that series 7 & 8 are by far one of the best! You will laugh & watch them over & over again.
Only for true friends fans... - By: M. J. Funnell, 31 Oct 2005
You may wonder why my title for the review is 'Only for true friends fans' & I have given it 5 stars. That is because it is still one of the best shows on TV, even at its weakest series; number 7. I say the above because this is the last friends box set you should get, therefore only really being for people who want all 10 series' (well worth the money!)

Friends series 7 revolves around the build up to Monica & Chandlers marriage. And that is about it. OK, it does have some stand out episodes like 'TOW the Nap Partners', 'TOW The Truth About London', 'TOW Chandlers Dad' & 'TOW with Joey's award.' There are quite a few other ones but, I have to agree with a few other reviewersin that this time they did make 'The One That Sucked.'

'TOW the holiday armadillo,' which i think is one of the worst friends episodes ever, as well as many other watchable but quite boring episodes e.g. 'The One Where They all turn thirty.' There are just too many episodesin this series which are medioacre & that is not usually the case with friends.

This is still a fantastic season & if you really really want to get it (or you want to get all ten series') then this is still fanastic at £18 (price at time of writing). I have to say though that if you want to get one the best series' look no further than Series 2, 4, 6, 8 & you have to have series 10 for the finale. Overall a good purchase but there are so many better episodes out there, & I believe you will yourself only returning to a very selective few episodes.

Friends Series 7 - By: , 23 Sep 2005
The thing with this series is that it really ends a mini erain friends..monica is no longer obesssing about Richard.. & Chandler is no longer being an idiot with women as they are paired off, takes these away & you only have the the ross & rachael thing as a main storyline which is put to rest, as Rachel dates Tag. It takes some getting used to the changes. There are some really fab exchanges between chand & Monin "TOW Joeys Award" as Monica freaks out about commitment to Chandler, its a very mature seriesin my view.
