I have not yet Purchased this on DVD, but by watching it on Toonami, I think it's amazing! The new Pokemon included give it a better Zing. All the new CGIin it make it much better aswell. I woulld love to buy it but lack the money.

I had a slight sinking feeling about this first volume of Pokemon Chronicles, the dubbed version of the Japanese lengthened special episodes. Two of the listed titles happen to be shorts that were previously released on video alongside Spell of the Unown backin 1998. Nevertheless the DVD is worth purchasing for the Raikou Episode alone which was a decent one. And with the added bonus of a special episode showing what happened to Brock after he left Ash's side temporarily to return to Pewter Gym, I'd say that's worth overlooking the recycled shorts for.
