Absolutely brilliant - By: Goldie locks, 02 Sep 2010
I should start out with a warning! Don't start watching this late at night if you have to get up early the next morning!!! I started watching this at 10pm while having to get up early next day & I still ended up watching the first 4 episodes because I just couldn't stop.
I bought this because when I was thinking about buying the US movie version a lot of the reviews mentioned that this is far superior. Having watched all 340 minutes of this I can't help be thankful that I bought this & not the movie as I have no idea how they could possibly do the storyline/plot justicein just 2 hours. Every time I thought I had it figured out & started wondering howin the world they were going to spend several more episodes on that, something else would be revealed & the chase was back on, so to speak.

I can't recommend this series enough!!!

Very enjoyable mini-series which could hardly fail given the number of excellent actors involvedin the production. Towards the end the plot became a tad complicated & I'm not sure I fully understood how the various strands & sub-plots were resolved.

This was a wonderful drama seriesin 2003 & it is just as good to watch now. Full of great actors such as David Morrissey & John Simm it is a thriller that has you gripped from the opening moments
Really Good Television - By: R. M. Dutcher, 26 May 2010
If you want to compare this to the movie of the same title releasedin 2009, don't. This series is far superiorin every possible way. The multi-part series allows for the full story to be developed on all fronts. Each character is well-defined & the dialogue is well-written. You are not shortedin any way on full development of story & action. John Simm & David Morrissey are particularly impressive but all the actors did an amazing job.
I don't have a single critical comment about this production. Watch it!
Compelling! - By: J. MOORE, 19 May 2010
