This was a gift from my children, I have watched it many times, it is very informative, interesting & the music really has to be heard to be believed. This is a side of Elvis every fan should hear.

This is one of the most moving documentries about Elvis you will see. Gospel music was a big part of ELvis life & this tells the story of how Elvis came to be inlfuenced by it,who his influences were & how he recorded his songs. The footage used is brilliant - Elvisin the 50's,60's& 70's is well represented & source material (unlike the Ultimate Elvis) is the best available!

You don't have to be religious to be uplifted by the stories about Elvis generosity of spirit or the Music. The music is infectious, uplifting & reverencial. And Elvisin performance is totally mesmorising. Every ELvis fan should have thisin thier collection. There is a bit of duplication of material on the second disc but that doesn't detract from its value -in my eyes it adds to it!

This double DVD with over 3 hours of material is great value - I am an Elvis fan & know that theres a lot of substandard documentries to be wary of. This is not one of them. If you are thinking about buying this -don't hesitate! Trust me -its brilliant.
