Series 2 of Las Vegas has less credible storylines but is packed with humour,snappy dialogue,surprises,celebrity guests, & asin series 1,what you see is a visual feast from one episode to the next.Beautiful people,beautiful locations & non-stop action make this a programme that will help you forget it's winter herein the northern hemisphere.

If you want to buy the Las Vegas disc sets buy the US versions.
Even though this is a 4-5 years old show i felt like watching a movie from the 80's. The reason? Its the transfer; the colors, especiallyin this show are vivid & shiny, but the colors of the UK set is so dull you can feel the dustin your nostrils. I've bought both versions, UK & US, the difference is so clear even a 3yo can see.
Who ever is doing the transfers should respect the customers, this box set costs 3 times more of the US version but the transfer doesnt deserve it.
Infact this transfer problem applies for all of the US shows transferred for UK release. Just dont buy any US shows' UK dvd releases.

whilst serving over seas i found the little gem that is vegas an was hooked from the first episode not knowing what was round each corner & to top the lot it makes the time fly by massive tunes & actors this is for the whole family to enjoy as long as they are over 12 haha
Another great season - By: , 15 Mar 2006 I didnt think Las Vegas could get better but it did. the other reviewers said it all. It is not just about gambling, it is about love, life, sex, rape, violence & everything you want to see on TV these days. Plus, what I love is that unlike other TV shows, you actually get a complete plotin each series so you cant watch it form any point.
Vegas, Baby, Yeah..... - By: , 17 Feb 2006 James Caan.... He's the making of this show... If you remember himin The Godfather as Sonny Corleone, you know the sort of brooding intensity he can bring to a production. Add 34 years of perfecting his craft, & you have James Caan now, perfect as Ed DeLine, the Montecito Hotel & Casino's President of Operations.
The storys can get a little farfetched at times, but the hi-tech wizardry is worth tuningin for on its own, the attempts people will make to rip off a casinoin Vegas are incredible, & the stunts are top-drawer (and without giving too much away, if you want to see Jean-Claude Van Damme get the come-uppance he's been asking forin every film he's beenin this is the box-set for you). Occasionally a brutal realism creepsin as well, threatening to send main characters into major freefall, but never quite finishing the trick. Also, Superman makes a entrance (admittedlyin his actor guise as Dean Cain, but still, Superman....)
Another mention has to go to the music, at least 1 episodein 2 has a live act playing the show out, & every episode has music running through it that you just have to find the artist name & track title so you can own their stuff as well...
So, James Caan, outlandish storys, gadgets & tech wizardry, fantastic stunts, big-name guest stars who can usually have a laugh at themselves, great music, & fantastic looking shots both of Vegas itself & inside the casino..
Heartily recommended....
