I've seen a lot of lesbian films & this was the worst-and thats saying something!
There seems to be no point to the film, & although the setting of the film is pretty, the actresses certainly are not.
The sex scene is elegantly shot, but nowhere near enough to make up for the rest of it. The good thing is, its a very short film.
1 star is pushing it - By: Nik, 13 Sep 2007 I really cannot understand how anyone could give this more than 1 star (if that), this is pretentious, art house rubbish at it's best -in that it's terrible. You spend the whole time thinking something 'might' happen - it doesn't & then it ends. Your life is too short to watch this.

This is a moving & aesthetically produced film. Yes, a love poem transformed into picturesin such a way that it is beautiful.
At the end we are shown how the film was made - how some of the love scenes were discussed by actors & directors during the making of the film. Also, we are shown discussions between the producer & director.
Can I have my money back? - By: Geordie, 26 Aug 2006 This film was beyond awful. When I first got it & saw it was only 40 minutes long, I was disappointed. But quite honestly, I've never wasted 40 minutes of my life so spectacularly.
If I look over the style of the film (poetry reading over images of the two women acting out the story) which wasn't to my liking, I still can't find any single thing I liked. The way the scenery & camera work was done, it looked like a cheap porno. The women were completely unbelievable as the characters of the poem (whichin itself was tedious & cliched). It was full of longing looks across a room, or a horse or a beach, supposedly meaningful. And it was 'nicely' rounded off with tacky piano music.
I've seen many many lesbian films now, thanks to Amazon Rental. Many of them are bad, but I would rather be forced to sitin a room watching something like The Monkey's Mask on a loop for a week before ever seeing this film again.
