Awesome show!:D - By: Chuck, 15 Sep 2008
Two Pints of Lager & a Packet of Crisps is my faveorite TV show. It is suitable for teens to twentys. Other perople have been saying young people won't get it or won't find it funny. I am 14 & think it is the best show around. I dunno if they mean younger but, oh well. I think it is deffinatley worth a buy!:D
Simply hilarious! - By: Lisette, 12 Sep 2008
This show is sometimes accused of being too simple, someone here said that only dumb people like this, which I think is a big insult to the show & it's viewers.
Not everything has to be deep & difficult to be funny.
The first two episodes or so, I didn't really think it was funny either, I usually watch things that require a bit more thinking, but sometimes you just have to let go, relax & enjoy the ride.

Two Pints of Lager is hilarious from start to end, & hopefully they will continue on for many more years.
Thumbs up!
Strangling comedy until it turns blue and dies - By: M. Fordham, 22 Apr 2008
It's a pity that the BBC licence fee is squandered on programmes as poor as this, 'Two Pints...' is comedyin its most basic form. I'm not saying we should all be watching re-runs of Fawlty Towers every night, there are plenty of great comedies out there. Anyone with an interestin British comedy will hopefully agree that 'Two Pints...' with its gaudy sets, dire dialogue & irritating characters does nothing for BBC or for comedy. Seeing this box-set of 6 series of 'Two Pints...' makes me feel sad for light entertainment, why doesn't 'Two Pints...' migrate to ITV where it belongs, along side 'Rock Rivals', 'Moving Wallpaper' & 'Hardware'.
Why do the BBC continue with this drivel? - By: Moonraker, 21 Feb 2008
This show is so unbelievably feeble it is incomprehensible that it ever got made & staggering that anyone would buy it on DVD.
Extraordinary comedy - By: Dizygotic, 06 Jan 2008
Rarely has a comedy divided opinion so completely. You either like it or hate it, but this is nothing to do with the writing or comedic timing which, by any objective measure, are excellent. It is down to whether you like the characters or their earthiness. There are strong parallels with 'Til Death Us Do Part' which caused similar controversy 40 years ago. This isin the same mould & is genuinely novel. If unfamiliar with the material you MUST watch episodes on BBC3 before committing to purchase. However, if you like it you will love it & the only reviews that matter are the positive ones. I wish I had discovered this wonderful comedy earlier - & I am not a studentin my 20s but a middle-aged professional.
