I first came across JAG on Hallmark a few years ago, tho' they've stopped showing it now. Donald P. obviously has very influential friends because the locations are genuine (either that or his FX team are the best on the planet) which makes the show more interesting & dynamic.
Some of the characters are so stereotypical (surely not ALL officers smoke huge cigars?) & some of the dialogue is cliched but it's so visually stunning (and their uniforms are so clean & sharp) that you're prepared to forgive these lapses. Worth every penny - particularly compared to current UK TV.
JAG changed my life - By: Jenny Andersson, 31 Mar 2007
I LOVED JAG from the very moment I saw it & when it came out on DVD I just knew I had to have it! For me, no other television series can ever compare! David James Elliott is such a hunk & I really love Tracey Needham's character as well. The episodes are so authenticlooking & I always liked the underlying sexual tension between Harm & Meg. The episode I like the most is definately Boot, but my other favourites include Hemlock, Scimitar, Brig Break, Shadow, Sightings & of course the lovely & sad Skeleton Crew. This tv series sure changed my life for the better. I can't wait to own the other DVD boxes!
OK! Season 1 Great!! Where is Season's 2 & 3 - By: M. Teagle, 29 Mar 2007
GRRRRREAT!!!! We love it all seen all the series on FX & Hallmark but really need the DVD's, good story lines particuarilyin the early seasons. Got a bit wishy washyin the later seasons but still good, final episode was a complete let down, shame on you Donald B. But!! where are seasons 2 & 3? Come on guys get your finger out they have been released on Amazonin the states for months now & there is also a box set. Why are we always the last to get DVD's released its the same with the movies. OK I have done my moaning I am off to watch another episode on FX.
Bag a Jag - By: Born to Shop, 22 Mar 2007
This first series of JAG is excellent. Every story is different & exciting as the last. David James Elliott is gorgeous (something for the ladies - even if you don't like planes & boats!!!). There is also a sense of humourin it, which I feel is a must, otherwise it can get boring. Tracy Needham is good as his sidekick. All-in-all, well worth the watch.
