This contains:
Toy Story 2 Disc Edition, A Bugs Life 2 Disc Edition, Toy Story 2 2 Disc Edition, Monsters Inc 1 Disc Edition, Finding Nemo 2 Disc Edition, The Incredibles 2 Disc Edition & Cars 1 Disc Edition.
Pixar's films have to be the greatest ever. Just because they're animated & include talking animals doesn't mean they're completely for kids. If you've ever seen one, you'll understand. From Toy Story which will bring back memories for anyone to Cars, which got some bad reviews but is still a great film.
It's all packagedin a book type case, with each 'page' containing one DVD. This then slides into a shiny Pixar case & contains colour postcards from each film.
There's only one problem. I don't know if Cars has a 2 Disc Edition, but Monsters Inc definitely does. I own it, & it's packed with special features. I guess they didn't include the second disc here to make the box set smaller but still, it had the most features out of all the DVDsin this set.
Buy this & the Ratatouille/Pixar Short Films set & you're set for life.
Forget Antz, this is the bees knees - By: A. Marczak, 13 Nov 2007 I'm quite a big fan of box sets. I haven't got any Spiderman or Bourne films, or the Star Wars DVDs, because I am waiting for the box sets.
This is a fantastic box set & a bargain at the price. With 7 movies & tonnes of extras, you really can't go wrong. The films are all top quality, & the postcards that came free adorn our fridge ever so nicely.
If you don't own any of the films up to Cars, this is the best way of getting them.

pixar have been really importantin the advancement of cgi technology, along with the star wars movies...but without pixar there would most likely be no shrek, chicken little or even some studio ghibli movies, pixar is pretty much where it all started
the movies are all amazing, not just as animated movies but as moviesin their own right
toy story was the first full cgi feature
bug's life made advancementsin animals & eyesin cgi
toy story 2 featured more people as well as animal hair
monster inc used hair technology & eye to a new level
finding nemo was amazing through it's use of water never used so well
the incredibles was the first feature to use humans predominatly
and cars used realistic reflectivein the use of the shiny cars
all these reasons & more are why the pixar movies are the bestin animation &in story tellingin the west

I only recently bought this boxset, i got it thinking it was only the single disc versions of the movies i was delighted when i discovered that most of the movies were the 2 disc special editions which retail for £15 each. The packaging is superb one of the best designed boxes i own & it is very sturdy. If you are looking at this you know alrready how good these movies are alone so i am not going to rave on about them, but each one is fantastic for adults & children alike. Toy Story 1 & 2 are out of this world as is The incredibles. A must have for Disney fans or for an DVD colectors.
Pixar Boxed set - By: Honest Bob, 19 Jan 2007 This for anyone who is a pixar fan must be bought, if u already have the films then i wouldnt bother but if like me you havent got around to buying them yet, this box set contains everything youl need up to 2006. Toy story 1 & 2 special editions (2 disc's), Bugs life (2 disc SE), Mosnters Inc (1 disc), Finding Nemo & Increadables (2 disc's SE) & the latestin the series Cars (1 disc). The only moan is there isnt any film descriptions on the box or attached but at the end of the day if you dont know about these films you shouldnt be buying them.....
I would recomend this to everyone especially as a gift.
