A great movie, I'll keep it short on the transfer
9/10 for picture, clear & crisp from start to finish, from the subtle forests of Europe to the sharp deserts of Arabia, very good, very nice resolution'sin fantastic 1080p
10/10 for sound, blew me away, excellent
10/10 for the movie, great acting, Bloom especially, & the legend that is Leeson, very entertaining great for a Saturday night, but very lengthy & you really have to sit down & watch it to takein the aurora & environment of the film, i think whoever you are & whatever movies you like you will enjoy this ( unless of course you're prejudice against all races) :)

Anderson, 14 Jul 2008 got this film on normal dvd & just got it on blue-ray my lcd tv is a toshiba 37" 1080p blu-ray player samsung the picture quality on the blue-ray is breathtaking the sharpness colors are fantastic spent most of the time watching the scenery & sky & clouds so clear the film itself is great to great battle scenes good storyline i didnt think orlando blooms acting was bad enjoyed al the 3 hours of the film 5 out of 5

This extended version is much better than the original since it fillsin so many of the blanks.
The picture is top knotch along with the sound.
I know it would have been silly, but I wish Liam Neeson had swapped roles with Orlando Broom! Stick a beard on him & it would have worked, lol.
Where's The Extras? - By: Mr. T. Palfrey, 20 Mar 2008 The Film? Superb! Quality? Faultless! Extras? NON EXISTENT! Amazon says there's over 18hrs of extras but all there is, is a trailer for the film! Very dissapointing. I think they must have meant 0.18 Hrs of Extras!
