Terrible - By: Master S. A. Rawlings, 10 Aug 2007
I saw thisin my local blockbuster & thought it might be quite funny as it was compared to beavis & butthead, south park & the simpsons & stars bill bailey. Total letdown. to say its notin the same league as south park is an understatement, its totally unwatchable, dont rent or buy it.
Uh... what? - By: madaboutmovies, 16 Jun 2007
This film is just so odd that I don't know wether to love it or hate it!

Terkel is a poor young lad who's life can't possibly get worse, but it does, & that is what the film is basicly about. The animation is not exactly up to scratch, but I think that just adds to the film's character. The characters vary from totally origional to ones we've seen a million times before, & most of the 'gags' are so dry that you're more likely to have sick flying out of your mouth rather than laughder!

Overall an O.K film that's not good nor bad, as for the 3 star rating.

Just another confused curiosity.
Vastly inferior South Park clone - By: Greg, 12 Apr 2007
It's a 3-d animated tale of schoolboy adventuresin the gritty world of Holland, which the 'streetwise' creators want to look more like backstreet Brazil than one of the world's richest countries.
Setin a junior school (or whatever they're called these days) this plodding journey into inner-city school life can't escape comparisons to the edgier, more risque & genuinely offensive South Park. Sadly it's notin the same league. The animation, vastly more ambitious thanin the aforementioned US comedy show, looks like a mid-1990s first-person shoot-em-up, with the 3D rendering barely coping. The graphics are kept as simple as possible by reducing the world to a load of balls - so just like the script then.
Before ejecting this film half way through I paused briefly to wonder why it was such a tedious experience. After all, the voice talent is good (apart from the flatulent Johnny Vague-ass, who shows that all you need to do to be considered funnyin Northern England (which is where I'm from) is to be overweight & drink & smoke too much) & school life is ripe for narrative exploitation. I soon got bored of these considerations but I'd probably conclude that the creators haven't a clue what age group this is for. It's too weak for adults but too grim for kids. Something like that. In my opinion it doesn't deserve a considered review, so I'll be damned if I'm writing one.
Did I watch the same movie as everyone else? - By: Mr. Mandeep Lakha, 20 Feb 2007
I watched this with two other people & we all thought that sitting through the entire film was a feat of endurance. Not because of the violence & language, but because of how little story there was, how slowly it moved & how the plot & scenes made little sense.

Maybe the sense of humour just didn't carry as well from the original language. Some (precious little) of the scripting/animation was very clever, & had us laughing out loud, but the funny bits really had little to do with the plot & more to do with the being outrageous. It felt like 20 minutes of story stretched (badly) to fill a movie. And the "outtakes" at the end were exceptionally unconvincing & drawn out.

I rented this so I didn't waste much money, & i would recommend that you did the same.
