Best workout dvd ever!!! - By: Venetia Moore, 18 Oct 2008
I have followed this dvd every morning for the last year & the results are astonishing!
Its so easy to squeezein the 10minute sessionsin between a busy day. 10minutes is so realistic & each workout is full-on & high impact so you'll feel like you've done an hour! I love starting my day to these, as I can really feel the difference all day. I have since tried to do other workouts but I cannot find anything as effective as this dvd.
When I first started, I followed 2 sections each morning before work, & after 2 weeks the results were clearly noticeable- tighter abs, bum & thighs. Everyone compliments me on my body & it really is all down to 20mins of this dvd every day!
BIG Thumbs up! xx
This is so 1990s - By: Fiona, 16 Jul 2008
Remember aerobics classin the 1990s? Well, this video is like a fast-paced version of all the moves. Fastin a bad way. Forget about controlled movements that make the msucles work hard. I was looking for something pretty advanced, but this isn't hard, it's just I think they are too quick to really be effective. Buy Cindy Crawford's videos instead, especially the next challenge.
Time poor but want to indulge in some effective cardio exercise? Then this is what you need! - By: The Inspired One, 02 Apr 2008
This DVD is brilliant for people like me who want to exercise but often find that they just don't have enough time to complete a 30 minute, let alone 60 minute DVD.
No time is wasted & every minute is used judiciously to derive maximum benefit from the workout.
The trainer is engaging & provides clear instructions as well as motivation. The other great thing about this workout is that you do not require much space & the only props you need are a set of weights for last section.
All sections start with a swift warm up & end with an equally rapid cool down.
There are 5 x 10minute sections &in my opinion, the most intense section is the Power Blast - this section will really appeal to the more advanced exerciser.
Overall, this DVD would definitely suit beginner or intermediate levels. If you are quite fit, you will still get a good workout, especially after completing the Power Blast section.
Good set of excercises - By: Alex A., 04 Mar 2008
Again love the idea of choosing the length of the workout. This one will definitley help you to shift those pounds if you try & keep up with the trainer. Excercises are varied, interval burning is great & even though it is exercise DVD, it actually is fun. Well as much as exercising can be when you are trying to achieve your ultimate goal of more toned & nicely shaped body :) Boyfriend nicknamed it 'mad bunny' - of yes loads of jumping & fat-burning. Beginners might find it a bit too intensive but it's worth grabbing this DVD. The only minus of this DVD is that there isnt enough of warm up & cool down. After the first session it took almost 4 days to recover - ham strings & muscles strained quite badly. I would recommend doing a proper warm up from a different DVD (Davina's CDs are great for this). Altogether, definitley a good positionin your home exercise set.
One of the best workout DVDS - By: Rachmc, 11 Feb 2008
I bought this DVD a few weeks ago & I love it. Cardio is my least favourite form of exercise but breaking it up into 10 minute intervals makes the time fly. Because you can mix & match routines it means you're not doing the same boring exercises every day too which I love.
The best thing about this dvd is there is a lot of toning based exercises so even though you're working off fat, you're still toning arms, thighs & butt. (I still do pilates dvds though)
It would be good if there was a warmup/down section, but you can do it yourself easily. It's great there's no annoying peoplein the background, just the one instructor. My biggest criticism is that I find "anti-carb" mentality really annoying. But it's still one of the best exercise videos I've ever seen.
