I bought this after a C-section as I couldn't do much exercise for weeks afterwards & wish I'd bought it to do throughout my pregnancy as well. Its very, very gentle so a bit of a shock if you're used to high-impact stuff like me, but its perfect to use throughout your whole pregnancy (and better than doing nothing at all) & straight after giving birth while you're still a bit fragile & self-conscious. Its easy to follow and, wonderfully, Davina actually looks pretty big when she's doing the pregnant work-outs & a bit wobblyin the post-natal ones - great for lifting the spirits :)

Money well spent if you do this a couple of times a week for 9-12 months.

I am not a fan of exercising & I have brought many excercise DVDin the past which just end up collecting dustin the corner. I brought this one to tone up after having my baby, & it is excellent. It is not to high powered so it is not intimidating & its approach is very realistic. I have been doing the DVD on average 4 times a week for 2 weeks & I have lost 6lb. I have also noticed that my legs bum & tummy are toning up nicely. This is well worth the money!!!!

Having been an avid runner & davina DVD follower pre pregnancy, this is perfect. It's gentle, about 40 minutes & packed full of useful tips. I swim three times a week & add this into my routine when I can. (Started it about 3 months gone). You don't sweat (because you shouldn't) but its fun & keeps your muscles moving & hopefully toned! Gives me that feel good factor. Highly recommend it if you like Davina!

The background music is annoying... Davina's quirky jokes are only mildly funny on first viewing... her pro-trainer woman is equally annoying... the exercises hardly raised my heart rate... the sections are too short... I could go on. Maybe I just didn't warm to Davina. She plays to the camera a lot which got wearing on repeated viewings. I quite liked her 'tips' section where she lounged on a sofa & spilt the beans on her own experience. But overall I was not impressed with either the pre or post natal workouts. I give this 2 stars because there is a lot of emphasis on doing the exercises properly - one small plus point.

I purchased this dvd when 14 weeks pregnant. Up untill this point I had been told by my doctor to have complete rest due to complications.
My fitness level had dropped hugely so I checked this dvd with a doctor friend of mine to see what she thought first. It got the thumbs up. I found that this dvd was great for me. It probably is not too difficult at first if you have ok fitness levels but it was great for me.
I am still using this & am now 24 weeks pregnant, you do feel the benefits of it & it has made me feel really good.
I would recommend this. I think that the instructor is good at reminding about posture & the fact that the routine is fairly short means that you do not have to put aside lots of timein your day.
Hopefully the post natal will be as good. By the way Davina is sickeningly fit & says she has a jelly belly 11 weeks after giving birth - I dont think so love!!! - But dont let this put you off.
