Its good - By: Kevin.K, 20 Sep 2008
I dont know why people are complaining, i personally, think its as good as it's always been, ok, it IS getting a little bit predictable & there are some minor flaws, but to me, its still exciting, action packed & as good as ever, I'd recomend it!
Bauers Back! - By: Carolie, 17 Sep 2008
This was a great series & not weak at all (The weakest series is actually Day 1)!! & for us ladies Jack looked particularly Hot! Good strong perfomances & some old names. Keep it coming Guys, this has to be one of the best TV series ever screened.
Time for Jack Bauer to hang up his gun - By: Mr. K. N. Henderson, 06 Sep 2008
I've watched all the 24's, & despite implausible plots, ridiculous timelines & unbelievable story lines I've enjoyed them all. However, I really think it's all getting a bit tired & series 6 is a struggle to get through.

I mean, just how bad can CTU be before it's disbanded? Over 6 series they've been infiltrated (multiple times), blown up, gassed, allowed presidents to be assasinated, let multiple terrorist groups carry out massive attrocities (including multiple nuclear bombs) & been generally incompetent. Other than Jack, who always saves the day of course.

The only other vaguely competent person is the ever disfunctional Chloe who seems to be the only person capable of operating a computer or satellite tracking system properly (what exactly does everyone elsein that huge department actually do???!!!!).

Lastly, just what form of time travel have CTU invented that allows them to travel such huge distancesin such short periods? In the equivalent of an ad-break, cars seem to travel hundreds of miles. Agents who were at the brink of death being tortured, seem fresh as a daisy twenty minutes later & are back at their station...!

In series 6, just hours after Jack struggles of a plane, weak & looking like Gandalf, he's charging around LA saving America just like the old days.

We forgave all these flaws for 5 series, but really, S6 is getting plain ridiculous & they should quit while they're (just) ahead.

the best 24 season ever - By: aiya, 23 Aug 2008
I don't understand why so many are disappointed with season 6. In my humble view, it has the best written, most sophisticated script of the series. While all the plot twists & surprises & tensionin previous seasons had been created with great skill & cleverness, the characters & eventsin is one is so authentic, it is as if the writers have matured over the course of the 6 series, & has had time to look into even deeper into the things that affect all of our lives - clear & present danger NOW. And the result - is beyond fab or brilliant. It is simply masterly. Daringly, it veers from the tried & true 24 formula of nonstop action to allow glimpses into the possibility of character change & redemption. Long may the series live, if it continues to produce TV like this....Nothing even comes close. And I just saw the much lauded DARK KNIGHT this afternoon, 24 season 6 makes Dark Knight's very excellent script ( despite its great Fx & acting) seem clunky & labored. I only hope the writers will continue to produce work that challenges us & not dilute their vision to please those who are blind to the merits of this series.
meh! - By: S. D. Neighbour, 19 Jul 2008
A bit of format fatigue setting in. Some good episodes, some not so much. The enforced break caused by the writers strike may help to freshen it up. Let's hope so.
