I bought the boxset after watching the XL Tour his most recent DVD which was brilliant, one of the best comdians i've seen. The only problem was, this was his best work & so as i watched the boxset from the start, the first few seemed nothing on his last, despite some fantastic jokes & ideas. So don't over-estimate the boxset if your watching after seeing one of his later DVD's, but to a newcomer watching from 1994 to present, this boxset is outstanding.
Fab! - By: Michael Evans, 24 Mar 2008 I love Lee Evans soo much, he's so funny! This box set is fab for any one who loves Lee or anyone who just simply loves comedy! If you dont buy this you're mad its value for money AND you can put him on your iPod with the audio discs & then listen to him anywhere!!! greatin a traffic jam or on a flight :)
Minor Correction - By: W. R. Davis, 16 Feb 2008 I just bought this boxset off amazon & im very happy with it, its justin the description it says the boxset has 10 discs, it actually has 8. There are 6, one for each show & 2 of them are audio cd's for "THE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE LIVE" & "XL TOUR 2005 LIVE". I just thought that would help any who mite be confused.

Six DVDs of his toursin all, & two audio CDs make up one of the very best stand up comedy collections I own. Lee Evans' Norman Wisdom/Frank Spencer crossover style of comedy are halarious, & are worth repeated viewings, as often you find yourself still laughing at the last thing he said & missing the next bits.
Across the various shows, Lee airs his views & unique takes on practically everything & anything, Romance, Women, Sat Navs, Cars, Memory Loss, the dysfunctional "Malcom" - how to be a comedian & so much more! Lee's shows typically start with a slapstick routine & then launch mercilessly into between an hour & up to over two hours of rib tickling funiness. All the shows end on a spectacular musical note, & there are some true gems here - "Three Second Memory" & the set also boasts the "Lee Evans Trio" & the wild take on "Bohemian Rhapsody."
Lee's regular utterance of the F word might not be to everyone's tastes - but his genuinely funny views on everyday aspects of our lives are side splittingly hilarious, but there's no one else quite like Lee Evans, he's a great, great funny guy - so if you have a broad mind & a good sense of humour, then this boxset is for you!
Lee Evans - By: VW Gal, 02 Feb 2008 Great value box set, Lee Evans is very funny & this provides hours of laughing. Still to watch it all, but would recommend it to anyone who likes a hearty laugh.
