In this boxset, you will find all the episodes of all seven seasons. Buffy truly is a classic show & well worth owning on DVD. If you have never watched Buffy, it is supernatural show that follows three teenagers from high school as they grow up, & battle all the demons of the world at the same time. One of the teens, Buffy, has super-human strength to fight the forces of evil incl. vampires, hence the name of the show.
However, I advise people to check the discs when they get them, as there are some faulty discs out there! I had a fault on the 1st disc of season 2 & the last disc of season 7. I contacted Amazon who were very good. However if you expect them to replace the seasonsin which there are faulty discs you will be disappointed. I was offered a full refund of the entire boxset, an exchange of the entire boxset or a partial refund. I took the partial refund & used it to buy season 2 again - there wasn't enough of the refund to replace both seasons 2 & 7. However the fault on season 7 wasn't too bad, I just get a scene repeated twice; rather than missing part of the episode (like the fault on season 2).
I admit, I was probably unlucky with the discs & the chances of that happening are like onein a million, that's why I still give it 4 stars regardless (though the star lost is due to the unpredictability of the discs). So, buy it & enjoy watching the episodes over & over again, as Buffy truly is a timeless classic that everyone should watch & enjoy!

Like other reviewers though, my set is missing every single episode listing insert.... So 7 seasons of rather clunky DVD operation to get through with no episode guide...

I am currently watching season 5 after having to watch a disc of buffy & the a disc of angel since the beginning of season 4! I brought this boxsetin January as a post christmas treat & it has been as brilliant this time as the other 10 times I have watched the series! I have been an avid fan since season 2 aired originally (giving away my age somewhat)and it still makes me laugh (especially Spike), cry - see The Body season 5!!! & watch till 3in the morning.
My favourite episode is still the buffy & angel 'I will remember' Season 1 of angel but only because the story was so well writtenin the 1st 3 seasons of buffy.
If you haven't watched it - I so envy you getting the pleasure & the gripping page turning effect of Whedon's writing.
If you haven't brought it yet - why not? And if you have, why are you reading this review & not watching yet another sharp, witty, poignant & downright addictive episode!
As my title suggests - I find this boxset brilliant.

Absolutely love Buffy, however this set arrived with the episode guide insert for season 2 missing. When I asked for this to be replaced they could only send a whole extra box set which turned out to have season 2 AND 5 guides missing. I then had to arrange to send this back & have never recieved the missing insert.
Fangtastic Fun! - By: L. Gameson, 15 May 2010 Buffy was a big favourite of mine for years when I was a teenager, & I remember Friday nights being the highlight of my week when a new season had begun. I recently bought this box set to keep me company when I was on nights & I'm so glad I did. The series is fantastically well written & is peopled with varied, colourful characters. Don't miss this TV series.
