The Shaolin Workout trainsin the aid of building fitness, strength, endurance, stamina & flexibility whilst learning fundamental kung fu steps for the beginner, & giving those who already know how, a virtual classroomin which the Master pushes you to work out to your maximum.
Just as the kung fu is keyin this work out DVD, so is the emphasis on fitness & endurance.
This is great for someone who (1) wants to get fit under the banner of wushu (kung fu) and/or (2) wants to learn or practice kung fuin a class room setting, but is unable to go to a real life class.
The Master is joined by studentsin the back, so you always feel you are part of a class as well as part of the process. The Master is efficient & helpfulin his explanations, but for the complete beginner, do not be afraid to pause the DVD when practicing moves for the first time that you did not quite pick up firstly at the full speed of the class. Once you get the moves, working out is even the more fun.
It is an enjoyable, fast paced, accurate & more regimented form of working out.

Ive been studying Tang Soo Do for a year & found this a great work out.
Some nice stretches & stamina training though i will say that it might not be for complete novices some basic martial arts understanding is needed.
