Could this be an utterly soul-less movie for the sake of producing a trilogy? If so, I hope it's the end for this franchise.

Rachel Weisz's creation of Evie is completely destroyedin the hands of ham-actress Maria Bello, who transforms the feisty but principled wife into a greedy action heroine more suited to a Terminator movie.

The script & plot are laughable - there isn't a scrap of tension or excitement. The finale is all too contrived & rushed, to the point you ask yourself "is that it?"

The reviews i have seen on here made me gobsmacked
I really enjoyed this film
it was action packed
with fab effects
Seriosly this film is good
A slow start maybe but it gets really good
at times...
I hated the other films
But this is to a very high standard

I loved the first 2 Mummy films, I loved the humour, the story line the actors & the fact that they didn't take themsleves too seriously.

So why why why did I put myself through the misery & shame of this movie?

Everything about it is wrong. The grown up kid, the varying accents (you know who you are) the plot holes are embarrasing, even the acting is cheesy without a hint of irony.

I'm the one person who tends to like the movies others think aren't that good, but even I can't bail out this film. If anybody out there decides to try & find another Mummy, I seriously suggest leaving it alone & walking away rather than make a fourth movie.

I've given it 2 stars because it only had 2 stars; John Hannah & Brendan Fraser.

This film was the worst film i have seenin a long time, there are numerous reviews on here detailing why so i wont repeat but heres a little re-iteration - Mario Bello's atrocious acting, the disappointing use of Jet-Li & Michelle Yeoh, the abominable snowman, & the poor script "the yak, yacked".

But what really concerns me is the people giving it 4-5 stars because this is a summer blockbuster popcorn movie. Rubbish! You really think this is as good as transformers, dark knight, the bourne films, etc. And what about the actual 5* classics like gladiator, american beauty, the matrix, star wars, LOTR, Lion King, raiders of the lost ark REALLY?

ok - i agree with weak dialogue, bad acting, poor story. but really, this is "The Mummy...etc 3" (4 if u incld. scorpion king). you don't watch it for its punchy, high brow dialogue, nor for it's exciting, mysterous yet gripping story & you certainly don't watch for the classic acting. you watch it for the bright lights & fancy CGI.

it was a joy to watch with some popcorn, as a relaxing 2hours of mindlessness which, for me, is the sole reason for any film like this. whether it's good enough to buy depends on your need of such films, me i got plenty others very much like it...but maybe one day.
