Customer Reviews

Don't understand - By: Adam Rodriguez, 11 Nov 2008
I dont understand why it only has 8 of the movies. It should have at least gone up to jason X. Quite disappointed.
It's a pity that Part 4 was not "The Final Chapter"! - By: Robert, 02 Nov 2008
The first was great, the second quite good but then the story deteriorated from Part 3 onwards. Parts 3 & 4 were not too bad, but from Part 5 on, utter rubbish! I had only seen the first 4 flicks before but was disappointed no end at how awful the last four films were. And as some people have said, there are so-called audio commentaries promised on at least three of the covers which aren't on the discs, so Paramount have been dishonest about the special features. Only get this boxed set for the first four films & watch the others on a rainy day or when you are REALLY bored!
Go Jason Go Go Go! - By: J. Wright, 22 Oct 2008
Please Ignore all the naysayers,Who cares if theres no special features, for the price its perfect.
This boxset allowed me to view almost the entirety of the series for the first time & all i can say is theres only one really bad film there, the rest are pure fun! Lets make it perfectly clear that you dont watch these films for character development, plot etc...You watch to see Jason kill peoplein a myriad of ways, indeed hence ignore everyone whining about special features, for this price you cant go wrong.
Bizarre - By: J. Rain, 13 Oct 2008
Just got this box set. Very odd, the back of the DVD parts 3, 6, 7 & 8 say they have commentary tracks, but they don't!?
Part 1 has a short making of, but nothing we haven't seen before.
While I will still keep as I didn't have them before, this is a real shame as the U.S. box set (although only having slightly more) seemed far more exciting.
Paramount should be ashamed of themselves for releasing such a badly put together box set. If you dint even check that the writing on the back of the box is correct, then you don't care about your customers.
I am dissapointed - By: Piotr Wasielewski, 12 Oct 2008
