Well Clint must be getting on a bit & it shows, but he still has that special something that makes this film worth the watching time. Enjoy!

An error at the start, slightly damages the believability. - By: Mr. B. GOOD, 17 Feb 2010
An unforgivable error gets the film off to a shaky start. Earlyin the film, Eastwood's character Walt Kowalski is visited, several times, by a young (27) year old Priest. After addressing Walt as 'Walt' instead of Mr Kowalski, the priest does not get the message when he is corrected. A while later, seated with friendsin a bar, the priest once again approaches Kowalski. 'Hello Walt' are his first words. Kowalski would not have taken this. The priest is taking this man for a fool & yet, the next scene involves Kowalski softening & agreeing to talk.
In general, this is a deeply emotional film, with echoes of current conflicts. Will the current war produce many thousand of damaged people, like Walt.?
A slightly long-winded, underweight plot is made up for by impeccable acting & cinematography (almost sepiain appearance) makes this look incredibly stylish & real.
Yes, it's a fairly predictable, slightly tired plot, 'person hates another, but something happens to bring them together' but it's still a good movie.

I can't understand why this movie has generated several '1 stars' & bad comments. This truly is an incredible piece of film making & i can honestly say this is my favourite ever film. Great characters, excellent heart warming story & actually very funnyin places. Definately recommended to anyone who enjoys movies :-)
