I came across Clint Eastwood latein both our lives & enjoy his laidback, wry attitude. Gran Torino is a whole different ballgame, full of swearing, which I usually hate. But somehow it was rightin this film, which held me from beginning to end. I was disappointed with the end, one reason I will not reveal so as not to spoil it for others, the other: I thought the plot deserved a different one. This film may make people review their own racial attitudes.

I have been a Clint Eastwood fan for over 40 years. This is the most boring film I have ever seen with or without him. Watched it an didn't even pass it on to my family, it went straightin the bin ! Absolute rubbish.
