It has the famous theme for the film Apocalypse Nowin Act 3, with singing though. Though I wish it could show the German & English subtitles at the same time. I was considering getting the first stereo version from Testamant, but one review said it had a very lame version of that famous melody, so I thought this was cheaper than 30 pounds & with dts-hd. You hear the harpin the centre speaker when it starts, bliss. Then I noticed the bass from the subwoofer after a hour, which comes out like a steady heart beat. Picture is good at 1080i (made for hd tv). I watch it a hour at a timein the mornings, just helps me to wake up I guess.
So is this the best version? It is a rousing dts-hd, for certain. Alos having that old dusty feel that the 1950's versions of the opera had, but only just.
