Very little to say other than I just love it - limiting myself to two episodes or so at a time to prolong until Season 3 comes out (how sad!). I know Season 3 is currently on TV but it seems to jump from station to station with no fixed time. To my mind, the acting is superb - totally recommended - a 'get away from it all' experience!
Excellent value - By: G. Harrop, 06 Mar 2010 I missed this series when it was first shown, It is very good indeed & well worth the praise it has had . The attention to period detail is so good & is yet another high class American drama series ( aka, The west wing , House , original CSI etc.etc). Did people really smoke as much as that ! how times change . This boxed set is very good value.

Highly recommended for the production values, acting from the starsin particular Jon Hamm as Don Draper & the visual styling.

SWAIN, 26 Feb 2010 This series is one of the most enthralling pieces of drama I have ever seen.It is compulsive viewing on account of its wonderfully intriguing plots, great & varied characterisation & subtle implications.It never ceases to surprise & is well worth every penny spent on it!

I hadn't really heard about "Mad Men" until Season 2 started. I caught a few episodes on the BBC but failed to follow the series through. I really thought I had missed out. Then with Season 3 about to start on BBC4 & also making the front cover of the Radio Times, I looked on Amazon & there was all I needed to be a part of the "Mad Men" experience. My wife & I have watched the first 10 episodes of Series 1 to date & are really loving it. I am recording Series 3 on the hard drive of my V+ (Virgin Plus) machine, so when we have finished watching Season 2 we will seamlessly seque into Season 3. I am surein due course there will be a Seasons 1-3 compilation, but for my needs this worked a treat. As ever the prompt service form Amazaon was first class.
