The Hurt Locker -Thrilling but unfulfilling - By: jimima, 29 Aug 2010
A brilliant, exciting film that is easy to follow & leaves you sweating. Unfortunately, there is very little to connect you to the main character & by the time the film ends you feel a certain sense of loss. And notin the way you should.

A superb film. - By: fablefish, 18 Aug 2010
I saw The Hurt Locker when it was released at the cinema & immediately decided that I would be buying the bluray. And I'm glad I did! The film had periods that made me forget to breathe! The photography is exceptional (especially with the use of the high speed cameras for the slow motion footage) & the soundtrack does a great job of heightening the overall experience.

The bluray encode is impeccable, showing sharp detail & vibrant colours.

Allin all, I think this is an excellent portrayal of the tensions & lifestyle that go handin hand with being part of a bomb disposal unitin the Iraq conflict. Awesome.
Hurt locker, story with no end. - By: Pro-use, 18 Aug 2010
Over-rated US splat movie, what Companies will do to sell their sub-standard products to Joe Public, criminal.
What a let down. - By: J. Ward, 13 Aug 2010
I love war movies & its been such a long time since there has been a good one, so I was really excited about watching The Hurt Locker. What a let down. Terrible acting, terrible scene setting, only flashes of good cinematography... I really can't see what all the fuss was about.

The only real positive I can think of is its brought a spotlight to these brave men who do the job everyday for very little credit. I could only give this 2 stars. If you haven't seen it, I deffo wouldn't buy it. Just wait for it too come on to TV.
