I will start off by saying that I liked this DVD: the routines are fun & there is nothing wrong with it all but I was disappointed with the low intensity.
The workout contains four complete 30 minute workouts for the time poor:
Aerobics fit: you've guessed it- aerobics.
Top fit: upper body toning.
Bottom fit: lower body toning.
Kick fit: punching & kicking, aerobics stylee.
Yoga stretch: cool down incorporating yoga moves.
These workouts would suit beginners or those who have had a break from exercise & want to ease themselves back into shape. Unfortunately, I loved 'Superbody' & this, for me, is the ideal tempo for exercising. Sadly,in my opinion, Davina fit does not 'cut the mustard'.
As always, there's good instruction (although not as comprehensive as 'Superbody'), safety pointers, banter, horseplay & Davina does 'gurn' a bit.
A great solid workout: the yoga section is an excellent idea & really calms, energises & cools you down a treat. The aerobics & kick fit sections are awesome fun but disappointingly short. What a shame! They are potentially great workouts.
I hope that Davina, Jackie & Mark decide to do a more challenging DVD this year.
Davina Fit Dvd - By: D. Preston, 21 Aug 2010 Excellent dvd. The upper body workout is fairly good which is why I got the dvd. The lower body workout is basically just squatsin various guises but it does the job & you will feel itin your muscles the following day. Better than other dvd's I've done.

I was a bit hesitant about fitness DVD's.....I already did a fair bit of exercise by running & using the cross trainer & weights but I was getting bored & wanted to spice it up a bit. I thought the DVD'sin general would be annoying & not give very good results but this one has been worth every penny. I have been doing it more or less every other day some times more since mid July & I have found it easy to follow - good short half hour bursts of exercise that I either team with running & cross training or I add a couple together for a full aerobic/cardio work out. I am not one for weighing myself & generally like to feel fit & healthy rather than be a slave to the scales but I put on my skinny jeans yesterday for the first timein a few weeks & they definitly had more roomin them - enough proof for me! I would recommend this DVD to anyone who wants to improve their tone & shape - you have to be self motivated & really go for it to burn the calories - you could easily slack & kid your self you are working out by not trying very hard but then you wont get results. The talking through it by Davina & the others isnt too much...doesnt annoy too much!I love the 'kit fit' - great fun & doesnt feel like you are working out! 'Bum fit' - a killer if you really go for it & watch out as it can really make your lower back ache but its good!!!

DAVINA FIT = FAB - By: kellymc83, 04 Aug 2010 I have never been a fitness fan & have always found exercise more of a chore than a pleasure, never sticking to a diet or fitness plan for any length of time. After the birth of my daughterin April this yr I was determined that I was going to change my ways, I was going to get fit.
I googled what was the best workout dvd to buy & Davina Fit flashed up at me. Before I started doing this dvd I was so unfit, I would never dreamed of chucking my trainers on & going for a jog or using my spare 5 minutes to workout. Oh how this dvd has changed me.
I am now 3 monthsin & the changein my fitness level & my body is amazing, to begin with I found each workout section HARD WORK, ill be honest they weren't easy but I willed myself through knowing that if I was sweating this much it must be doing me some good lol. I try & do the dvd 4 times a week each time doing a different workout. The workouts are not hard to follow & once you have been through the routine a few times they becoming easier & easier. The changein my fitness level has been amazing I went for my first jog the other day & done nearly 2miles this for me is such an achievement & all thanks to Davina, pre-davina I would be puffed walking up the stairs now I power through Aerobic fit & feel like I could actually do another 1 straight after. It has took me 12 weeks to start to notice a change to my body shape, my legs have become so toned its almost unbelievable, my bingo wings have been wiped out & my baby belly is definately being eliminated. I have not followed a strict eating plan as with 2 small children this is quite difficult but I have continued to lose weight every week & this is all down to Davina.
The changein my energy levels is amazing, the tired slumps I used to get each day have gone. I am now hoping to take partin the race for life next year which I hope to run without stopping, this for me is such an acheivement. I think of the difference exercising for 12 weeks has made to my life & how fit I will be this time next year. I love Davina Fit & feel a bit reluctant to try one of her other dvds because I know the workout so well, but if her other ones are as good as davina fit is, well you really are onto a winner.
